Cloudorn Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Cloudorn collects, how it is used, when it is shared and the choices available to users.

1. Who operates Cloudorn

Cloudorn is operated by Kashif Zareef. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to admin@cloudorn.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, username, email address, country code, phone number, verification status and password hash.
  • Shop information: business name, category, description, contact details, address, city, country, currency, delivery settings, hours, logo and listing content.
  • Location information: shop coordinates and accuracy data when a Shop Owner chooses to capture location. Exact coordinates are used for administration and nearby discovery and are not displayed publicly as raw coordinates.
  • Transaction information: carts, orders, delivery details, product snapshots, service requests, statuses and related history.
  • Trust and safety information: reviews, owner responses, reports, moderation actions, account restrictions and administrative notes.
  • Security and technical information: registration and login IP addresses, timestamps, session data, authentication version, browser requests, rate-limit events and error or delivery logs.
  • Communications: support emails and temporary chat messages while a live session remains open.

3. How we use information

Cloudorn uses information to create and secure accounts; verify email and phone details; approve and operate shops; show marketplace listings; process carts, orders and service requests; provide temporary chat; calculate subscriptions; publish verified reviews; investigate reports; prevent fraud and abuse; send service and lifecycle notices; maintain records; troubleshoot; and comply with applicable law.

4. Legal reasons for processing

Depending on the user and applicable law, Cloudorn processes information to perform its agreement with users, operate the requested marketplace service, pursue legitimate interests in security and administration, comply with legal duties, protect users and obtain consent where consent is required.

5. What other users can see

Public shop pages may display business name, category, description, phone, WhatsApp, address, city, country, hours, delivery information, products, services, ratings, reviews and owner responses. Customers and Shop Owners receive the transaction information needed to fulfil an order or service request. Private reports, security notes, exact stored coordinates and internal moderation details are not public.

6. Temporary chat

Chat messages are temporarily stored while a request is waiting or a conversation is active. When either participant closes the chat, or the session expires, the session and messages are deleted. Cloudorn does not provide permanent chat archives and users should not use chat as an order receipt or long-term record.

7. Sharing and service providers

Cloudorn may share limited information with the relevant Customer or Shop Owner to complete a transaction; with hosting, email, security and infrastructure providers that support the platform; with professional advisers; or with authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety. External map and website links are governed by the third party’s own privacy practices. Cloudorn does not sell personal information to advertisers.

8. International processing

Cloudorn and its service providers may store or process information in countries other than the user’s country. Where required, Cloudorn will use reasonable contractual, technical or organizational safeguards for such processing.

9. Retention

  • Account and shop information is kept while needed to operate the account and marketplace.
  • After subscription expiry, operational shop data is retained through the 30-day grace period and may then be permanently removed.
  • Orders, service requests, reviews, reports, moderation and audit records may be retained after shop removal for transaction history, disputes, safety, fraud prevention and legal needs.
  • Email-verification and password-reset tokens expire and are removed according to their security purpose.
  • Temporary chat is deleted on close or expiry.
  • Security, email-delivery and system logs are retained only as reasonably needed for operations, investigation and legal obligations.

10. Cookies and sessions

Cloudorn V1 uses essential cookies or equivalent session identifiers for login, account security, cart continuity and CSRF protection. It does not currently use advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy.

11. Security

Cloudorn uses password hashing, access controls, prepared database queries, CSRF protection, verification, rate limits, session controls, audit records and restricted administration features. No system is completely secure, and users should protect their credentials and report suspected misuse promptly.

12. Your choices and rights

Users may update certain account and shop information through Cloudorn, request correction, ask questions about stored information, request account or shop deletion, and object to or restrict certain processing where applicable law provides that right. Some transaction, safety, security and legal records may need to be retained. Requests may be sent to admin@cloudorn.com.

13. Children

Cloudorn is not intended for children under 18 or below the age of legal majority. Cloudorn does not knowingly invite children to create marketplace accounts.

14. Changes to this policy

Cloudorn may update this policy as features, service providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
